Image from the programme to my local arts festival which is currently running.
This part of the festivities was the fabulous idea of an open-air screening of Bride Of Frankenstein in a local park.
(Both Boris Karloff and Elsa Lanchester were born in my part of South London y’see…)
Only thing was, the damn thing was cancelled due to weather that Baron Frankenstein himself would have been glad to see, there was one hell of a thunderstorm that night!!
Real shame, that would’ve been great fun on a warm Summer’s evening.
Ah well, hopefully they’ll schedule it next year, weather permitting…
